Luca Chao has a degree in political science, a master’s degree in international migration and is a PhD student in social sciences. She is currently a substitute lecturer in Sociology and Gender at the University of Santiago de Compostela. She has collaborated in numerous international research projects and has spent time at the EHSS in Paris, the UNAM and the Colegio de México. Her main lines of research are political participation, exile and transnationalism.
