Anja Durovic is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Centre Emile Durkheim at Sciences Po Bordeaux. Anja holds a PhD in Political Science from Sciences Po Paris (2020). She wrote her PhD thesis titled “The gender gap paradox : citizenship, cohort change and the evolution of gender inequalities in political participation in Western Europe (1981-2016)” under the supervision of Nonna Mayer and Vincent Tiberj at the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics (CEE). Anja was previously a visiting research fellow at the University of Oxford (2017) and obtained a Master’s degree in Comparative Political Sociology from Sciences Po (2015) and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Law from the University of Mannheim (2013). Her research focuses on gender inequalities in political behavior from a comparative perspective as well as on political representation and public opinion.
