Álvaro Calvo Rodríguez
Álvaro Calvo Rodríguez is a research assistant at Universidade da Coruña (UDC) within the framework of the InTalent Program.
Educated at UDC, he got a degree in Sociology (2015) and a master’s degree in Applied Sociology: Social and Market Research in 2017, obtaining the Extraordinary Award. He was awarded with scholarships to work at Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas (2018) and at National Institute of Public Administration (2019-2020). He has previous experience participating in gender equality projects as he collaborated in the socio-educational program for the prevention of gender violence “Suprime O Control” and in the regional Equality Plan of A Coruña. Both projects organized by the Government of A Coruña.
He is currently working on his doctoral thesis on the existing gender gap in support for new far right parties in Europe.
